On May 3 and 4 Texas A&M University-Central Texas co-hosted a Web Accessibility in Mind (WebAIM) training together with Texas A&M-University Commerce’s Center for IT Excellence. Accessibility refers to the ability of everyone to access online information and content regardless of the barriers they usually experience when engaging with electronic content. Accessible content assists vision impaired users navigate and interact with content through screen readers, provides hearing impaired users written content to go along with audio content, and gives mobility impaired users the ability to navigate and interact without needing a mouse.
