Rewriting Inmates’ Identities: The Loss of Self in Prison Programming- Dr. Jennifer Schlosser

The College of Arts and Sciences and TAMUCT Sociology present a guest lecture by Dr. Jennifer Schlosser. Dr. Schlosser is assistant professor of sociology at Colorado State University-Pueblo and author of the book Inmates’ Narratives and Discursive Discipline in Prison: Rewriting Personal Histories Through Cognitive Behavioral Programs. This lecture may be of interest to anyone who would like to learn more about the lives of prison inmates, narrative and identity studies, prison rehabilitation programs, sociology, criminal justice, and psychology.
